Irrational antibiotic use is one of the leading causes of antibiotic resistance — a public health issue that is increasingly escalating worldwide. Evaluating the community’s knowledge, attitudes, and practices is of great significance for health communication and medication-use control efforts.

The research project, “Current Status of Knowledge, Attitudes, and Practices on Antibiotic Use and Associated Factors Among Residents of Ben Giang Commune, 2026,” conducted by student Nguyen Hoai Bao (22YK1), aims to investigate residents’ level of understanding regarding antibiotic use, self-medication habits, and factors influencing their usage behaviors.
Through the study findings, the project aims to propose health education and communication solutions that are appropriate for the local community, thereby contributing to improved awareness and the safe, rational, and effective use of antibiotics.
