Steps to make mind map (Mind map)

Steps to make mind map (Mind map)

This article will guide you through the steps to create a complete Mind Map.
I. COMBINATION OF KEY Words
As I said, Mind Map is made up of most of the keywords (key words), so it saves a lot of time for you. With only keywords, you can capture all the contents of all the things that you are trying to remember. So what is keyword? How to identify keywords in a textual content? You can refer to the following example:

First, you read this complete text:

“It has long been known that the human brain can be divided into two parts. The left brain and the right brain. It is also known that the left brain controls the right side of the body, whereas the right brain controls the left side of the body. In addition, it was also found that damage to the left brain causes the right half of the body to be paralyzed. Similarly, if the right brain is damaged, the left side of the body is paralyzed.

According to the traditional writing style and the way to learn as ever, you will have to memorize the passage or read it over and over to remember all the information it conveyed. However, in which there are many unnecessary words, if you remove those words and just read the keywords, you can easily grasp the main idea and save much more time. To prove that, you try to read the following 2 paragraphs:

1. “… the human brain is divided into two parts… the left brain, the right brain… the left brain controls the right side of the body… the right brain controls the left side of the body… the left brain is damaged, the right body is paralyzed… the right brain is damaged, the left body is paralyzed ... "

2. “For a long time, it was known that my… part… could be… made… part… and part… It was well known that… part… of…, meanwhile, in reverse,… part… side Besides, it was also discovered that… being… will cause half… suffer… Similarly, if… being… will cause half… to be… ”

After reading the 2 paragraphs, you will surely realize that although the first paragraph has fewer words, we still understand all the information, while the paragraph below contains most of the words in the original paragraph. does not bring us any useful information.

Therefore, the first step you should practice yourself in the habit of only paying attention to keywords, memorizing keywords is enough for us to grasp the entire content to be conveyed. In addition, keywords are an indispensable element of Mind Map, you will have to use those keywords to create your own Mind Map.

II.

STEPS THINKING MAKING

STEP 1: Determination of key words

(This step is guided above)

STEP 2: DRAWING THEMES IN THE CENTER.

- In this step, you will use a blank sheet of paper (no grid) placed horizontally and draw the subject in the center of the paper. White paper without grid will help you to be more creative, without the squares obstructing your thinking. Drawing on landscape paper will give you more space to develop ideas.

- You need to draw the topic in the center of the paper, thereby developing other ideas around it.

- You can freely use all the colors you like, the central theme can be text or picture, if you combine both, the better

- The central theme needs attention so that we can easily see the problem, so you should draw a topic as big as 2 5000 VND.

STEP 3: DRAW SUBTITLES (HIGHLIGHTS)

- Subheadings should be in capital letters above thick branches to stand out

The subheading should be attached to the center

The subheadings should be drawn diagonally rather than horizontally, so many other sub-branches can be drawn out more easily.

STEP 4: DRAWING LEVEL 2, LEVEL 3, ...

- In this step, you draw branch level 2 into branch level 1, branch level 3 into branch level 2, etc. to create the connection.

- You should draw more curved branches than straight lines, that will make our mind map look soft, flexible and easier to remember

- Only use keywords and images, in each branch only use 1 keyword. This makes it easy for many new keywords and other ideas to be appended to existing keywords

- Please use symbols and abbreviations to save space and time whenever possible.

All branches of an idea should radiate from one point and have the same color.

STEP 5: ADD PHOTOS

In this step, you should let your imagination fly more by adding more pictures to help make important ideas stand out, as well as save them in your memory better because the human brain is capable. The ability to absorb images is higher than writing. Do not be afraid to draw bad, just draw what you think, what you associate, sometimes the more funny, the longer you remember them.

III. RULES IN IMPLEMENTATION OF THE CONSIDERATION Diagram

When making a mind map, you should follow the following rules:

- Do not think for too long, but write continuously. The fact that you pause to think about something for too long will stop your next thoughts. You are busy with that problem and will forget about the next problem. Consequently, ideas should be continuously deployed to maintain alignment

- No need to erase or repair.

- Write everything you think, no matter how stupid or stupid it is, don't miss those ideas. Sometimes the idea of crazy is an extremely unique and creative idea that you did not expect.

Mind maps are drawn, written, and read in a direction derived from the center, moving outward, and then clockwise. Therefore, words located on the left side of the Mind Map should be read from right to left (starting from inside, moving out)

ARE YOU READY TO USE THE THINKING GRAPH?

To start drawing mind maps, you should have a lot of white paper A4 or larger, a set of colored pens (use point pen should be used), you can also buy a ballpoint pen. Many nibs are available at bookstores to avoid having to change pens many times, making drawing faster.
