The Hope School, a project initiated by FPT University, aims to provide education and care for 1,000 children who have unfortunately lost their parents during the recent Covid outbreak. TMMC Mental Hospital is involved in this project through the "Connecting Love" initiative, where Phan Chau Trinh University's Medical School will provide free healthcare services to the students of Hope School, including regular health check-ups, medical treatment, health counseling, and psychological support throughout their time at the school. Additionally, the university will award 200 full scholarships to eligible students who qualify for admission to health science programs offered by the university.
This morning, before heading home for the summer break, the students from Hope School visited and expressed their gratitude to the doctors from TMMC Mental Hospital, the clinic of Phan Chau Trinh University's Medical School, and the staff of the university. The students brought special handmade gifts, including paintings created by their own hands, the word "Hope" carved from a sunken ship's plank symbolizing resilience, along with bundles of fresh vegetables and homemade soap.
The meeting left a deep emotional impact on everyone involved.
