About the Center

The Biomedical Research and Application Center (BMAC) is a specialized unit under the School–Institute System of Phan Chau Trinh University. The Center plays a core role in shaping the university's scientific research strategy, aligning with its educational philosophy, mission, and core values.

Mission and Functions

BMAC oversees all research, innovation, and intellectual property activities conducted by faculty, staff, and students within the university system. It serves as a central hub for nurturing scientific ideas and translating research outcomes into practical medical applications.

Focus Areas

The Center concentrates on the development and application of cutting-edge biomedical technologies, including:

• Biotechnology and Molecular Biology
• Genetic Engineering and Regenerative Medicine
• Pilot production of biomedical products for diagnosis and treatment

BMAC operates certified laboratories and specialized research facilities to support both fundamental and applied scientific studies.

Education and Scientific Collaboration

Beyond research, the Center actively engages in:

• Training and supervising students in biomedical sciences and related disciplines
• Organizing scientific conferences and disseminating biomedical knowledge to healthcare professionals, students, and the public
• Expanding international collaboration through partnerships with universities, research institutes, and organizations in Vietnam and abroad
