The only Hoi An bamboo garden presented paintings to Phan Chau Trinh University

PCTU - On the afternoon of February 24, 2016, representatives of Hoi An Truc Chi Garden - Vietnamese Bamboo Art visited and presented Phan Chau Trinh University with a painting of Phan Chau Trinh made of bamboo. On this occasion, the Board of Directors also worked with the representative on coordinating the organization of related activities for students.

The representative of Truc Chi Hoi An Garden shared with the school management the unique story of Truc Chi. Truc is just bamboo paper, but not just paper. In addition to paper products made from bamboo pulp, which is handcrafted for writing, drawing, printing ... like ordinary paper, bamboo paper itself can only become a work of art. Truc also inherits the traditional Vietnamese do paper making method: soaking, cooking bamboo, crushing it into a pulp and dropping it into a paper plate, but when the paper is hung on the seo frame, bamboo's work has just begun. The artist begins to work directly on the wet paper to create the shape with a water pen (like a brush with a water spray). When the paper is dry, peeled from the frame, the work is done.
