Biosafety is a compulsory condition for people who are in charge of examining units according to the Decree 103/2016 / ND-CP dated 01/07/2016 of the Prime Minister on "Regulations on biosafety. at the laboratory ”.

The course helped participants understand the important role of biosafety management and ATSH in the laboratory and help students understand the potential risks in the laboratory, understand the steps of assessment. risk and apply biosafety principles to risk assessment.

After the class ends, participants gain more knowledge about working with pathogens in the laboratory, understanding the need for personal hygiene and protective clothing when working with infectious agents, and how to test them. control of aerosols through the use of safety equipment in the laboratory. In addition, the course also helps students know how to operate the ATSH cabinets well, how to safely handle them after testing, and limit the spread of infectious agents to protect the health of individuals and communities.

This training session had 34 participants. At the end of the course, the trainees were awarded the certificate of biosafety level II by Nha Trang Pasteur Institute as prescribed
